My First Product!

I am very excited and proud to present to you my first finalised product: the "Ice Cream Blossoms" circular kitchen tray. I am really happy about this design, and I have gotten amazing feedback from people that have seen it in real life.

I am itching to order a bunch more and start selling them, but first I have to finalise a few more designs so I can order them in one go. Then I will set up my own webshop, lately I have been looking into e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Big Cartel and SupaDupa, has anyone used any of those and would you recommend them?

I am also designing my logo and soon I'll order some business cards and promo material, so much to do but so exciting!

i am so proud of you! i know the feeling of wanting to just release everything, or jump into it right away but it's so smart to line everything up and then do it in one go. well done and i look forward to see the shop.

i haven't used those platforms. they frighten me because as an etsy seller - a LOT of my traffic comes from people who go to etsy to shop. with those other platforms it's very much about the traffic that You bring to the site. that being said you have a great following and are good at marketing yourself in a subtle, non intrusive way so they could work well for you!

As a shopper, I've used Big Cartel and Etsy, mainly. Big Cartel was easy enough as a buyer, but I don't know as a seller, and I adore Etsy.

Wohoo thanks Emily! That's so great to hear! :) I'm compiling an emailing list of people that have shown interest so when I open up shop you'll be the first to know! :)
Could you tell me what a dish set is exactly? The tea-kettle idea sounds super cute, I'm gonna have to look into it!

Thanks so much for your ideas and support!

Wow, thank you SO much for your kind words, it makes me so happy to have your support! I see your point about etsy but I feel like my products don't really fit in there because they're not handmade. So I think I'll give another platform a go and see what happens! :)

Hey Lisa! wonderful work! beautiful and quite magical :D
I've used Etsy, a few platforms similar to Etsy and Big Cartel too, but as patience says, places like Etsy already has their customer base so it's easier but of course it's always best to have your own customers coming to your own website. And looks like you already got a fan base so it shouldn't be such a problem for you ^_^ Good luck! x

It's gorgeous Lisa! So exciting to see your ideas come together like this! As for shops, I use big cartel mostly and it's pretty good, easy to manage and customize. I also have an etsy store because it's a great way to get discovered by new people as it's such a big site. Sometimes I think I should choose one to focus on but for now they both have advantages! Good luck with it all!
