A Photo an Hour // Thursday 3.5.2012

8am
Breakfast in front of the computer while checking emails and twitter. I love tea in the morning and my massive flowery teamug is the best mug to drink it from!
9am
Editing photos for an article about mastering ISO when photographing cakes.
10am
Writing the article and sending it off to my client, this freelance job is really fun!
12pm
Lunch. Nothing too fancy, some wok leftovers and celery with dip.

2pm
Today is the election for London's mayor so I go to my local polling station and vote.
3pm
Checking my schedule for the coming months and pencilling in some cool designer workshops I'm gonna go to, excited!
4pm
Working on some new bits for the peacock pattern, watercolour is my favourite type of paint.
5pm
Calling it a day with work and going out for a run (some stretches first of course).
6pm
After my run I shower and make my way into Soho/Chinatown to meet James and some friends for dinner at a Mexican restaurant called Wahaca.
7pm
James and I are both super hungry because we worked out before dinner!

8pm
Gorging on amazing street style Mexican food!
10pm
Drinking hot chocolate tequila shots, mmm! Here's our lovely friends Rodney and Anya.
11pm
Tired but content and very full we make our way home... and that was my Thursday!

Such cute pictures. Ooh who got your vote? I must say I'm excited for more infamous Boris moments filling the news! I love your morning mug... my first cuppa of the day always comes out of my HUGE Cath Kidston mug =)

Oh your pictures make me miss London! I used to live in Satsuma Japanese in Soho (not literally of course!) and when I went back they had stopped making their apple saki :( I love Mexican and I've never been to Wahaca, might need to put it on the list for next time I visit :)

@cb:

The workshops are about running a design business, so they teach how to price products, about copyright and patent, networking and exhibiting amongst other things!

@Sandra_Stillestund:

In 1,5 weeks we are going to Sweden to do a lot of wedding planning, excited! I'm gonna get the dress fitted, we're gonna meet the florist, cakemaker and the people at the venue, I'll tell you all about it then!

Great photos - thannks for sharing your day with us!
I love seeing where people like to eat out in London - we're visiting in November, and that mexican restaurant is definitely going on my list of places to eat at (along with an italian place you blogged about another time!)
