Friday at The Flask

Happy Monday everyone! Hope your week has started off well! Here are some pics from the weekend. On Friday we walked to my favourite Highgate pub The Flask for dinner and drinks.

Visit from Sweden!

Tonight my awesome friend Ulrica and her boyfriend Jimmy are coming to visit us, it's gonna be so much fun! Ulrica and I were room mates when I first moved to London 7 years ago. We had never met but decided via email that we should move in together, luckily it was a perfect match and we had the best of times! Now Ulrica is a doctor and lives in Stockholm, but we are still close. So it might be a few days until my next post, but I will soon be back with a cute Easter diy!

I'm working away on my pattern. Today I've added this little guy, or actually a better version of him since this is just a sketch. I've also made something I am going to give away on My Best Friend Jules, exciting! I'll of course let you know when the competition has started. Happy Monday all!

London Southbank

I wanted to share some photos I took a couple of weeks ago on the Southbank, that's the area that follows the river Thames. There are a lot of things to do there, you can visit museums, go to the theatre, or just stroll along the river walk, it's so lovely. It has been amazing weather here in London for the last few weeks as well, the whole city comes to life!

There is also a book flea market where they sell cheap books...

and a place under a bridge where the cool kids do trick with their bikes and skateboards.

There are also lots of street performers, like this dancer. He did some break dancing...

but when he pointed at us to join him in his performance we legged it out of there!

Cute Easter Shelves

Today I have decorated my kitchen for Easter with this vintage "shelf-paper". My mum sent it to me, I think it looks really cute! I want some more with another pattern for after Easter, does anyone know any online shop where you can buy these rolls? I don't know the correct word for it in English so it was tricky to google!

Design Notebook: Elsa Billgren

Elsa is a Swedish photographer, TV-presenter and fashionista. She writes one of my absolute favourite blogs right now, on Swedish Elle's website. Her blog always makes me feel happy, it's like a beautiful fairytale world filled with macaroons, cool friends, trips to Paris, and Elsa herself who always looks vintage-amazing (apparently she doesn't own one pair of trousers!). My Pattern Designs

I have gotten a lot of new readers lately, yesterday I had a record amount of visits, hooray! Thanks everyone who stopped by and welcome!

Because I am working on a new pattern this week I wanted to show you some that I have designed before... This first one is inspired by Alice in Wonderland and Tim Walker's photographs. It's called "Alice".

This one is called "Ice Cream Blossom". I used to have this as my blog background, now it's the design for my Twitter page instead.
