Easter Treats

I love cute little boxes and jars, recently I found this toffee tin on ebay from the 50's. The company that made it was called Sharpes, I don't know if they are still around but packaging back then was just amazing!

Love the cool graphics on the back!

My friend Sofia gave me this lovely little bowl with a heart lid...

and both of them are of course filled with easter candy right now!

I'm Gonna Be in a Trade Show!

Hello lovelies and happy Friday!
I have some great news, I have been selected to show my products and designs at Pulse trade show at Earl's Court, London in May!
I'm sooo excited, this is a really good show that lots of buyers visit, I hope they will like my stuff! 

This is a stand at Pulse a few years back, by Mary Fellows.

I am going to work hard these coming 7 weeks to develop some new products, I will show you sneak peeks soon! This week I went to a brilliant course at London College of Fashion to learn about textile product production (these cool creations are at the entrance, sadly I don't know who designed them).

So far I have ordered some fabric samples from Spoonflower and am trying to match the colours to my existing products, so much to do but so much fun!

Here Comes The Sun

I wouldn't dare saying spring has arrived to London, one minute it's snowing and the next it's sunny and 16 degrees! But at least some trees have started to sprout pink blossom and as I write this the sun is shining in through my window... Here are some lovely spring outfits (+ one very cool radio) to inspire us in the meantime!

Waves

Yesterday James took me out for dinner, we had lobster and chips at a place called Capetown Fish Market, it was very good. I tried out a new wavy hairstyle and for the first time in months it wasn't dark when I finished work, bliss!

Easter Sale of My Products + Mother's Day Tip!

Hey everyone and Happy Wednesday!
Just wanted to let you know that all of my products (trays, cheese board and notebooks) will be on sale for a discounted price in FAB.com's Easter sale! FAB is a cool website if you're looking for designer products at bargain prices, and they ship all over the world! The campaign starts this Saturday (the 2nd of March) and will run for 7 days so don't miss out if you'd like one of my products for a great price!

The second thing I wanted to share is that I will be selling my products (also at a discounted price) personally at The British Library's Spring Market in London on Monday the 4th of March, from 9.30-17.30. The market will be held on the gorgeous piazza in front of the library, nearest station is King's Cross St. Pancras.

Lastly, if you're looking for a gift for your mum on Mother's Day, I can recommend the Magnolia tray, mums love this one! And if you serve her breakfast in bed on it you should be set for the "best daughter/son of the year award!" :)

Pretty Bows

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday! It's a lovely sunny day here in London, soon I will go for a walk and send off some notebooks that people have ordered from my website, yay!
First I wanted to show you this new pattern design I've been working on, I call it "Rosetter" which is Swedish for bows. It's more simplistic than my usual style, but I think it would look very nice on fabric or wrapping paper. Which colour combination is your favourite?

Seed Fund Winners Exhibition

This week was the opening of an exhibition where my products were shown!
It's a showcase of the winners of the start-up grant I got last year, the "Seed Fund".

Me and James went to the launch night, they were serving cocktails in glasses made of sugar!

The sugar glasses were the invention of this guy - Fernando Laposse and his company The Sweet Glass Company, very cool idea!

The glasses (except the base) are completely made of sugar, they dissolved after about 15 minutes.
