Here's a little sneak preview of a really fun DIY I'm working on for a blog called Blissful Fêtes, it's a lovely blog with lots of tips and inspiration for parties. You'll be able to see the full tutorial on their blog soon, I'll let you know when it's up!

A True English Beauty

I couldn't resiste putting up this lovely picture of Kate today! I know I said yesterday I didn't really care but now that I've watched the wedding on tv I do think it's quite a special day for the whole of England! It's just nice to see all the people out and how happy everyone looks. And Kate looks just amazing, I love her Alexander MvQueen dress, designed by Sarah Burton.
A tender moment at the wedding of the Swedish Crown Princess Victoria and her Daniel last year.

Do You Take Thee Prince?

Tomorrow is the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton! Although it seems the whole of Britain is in a frenzy, I can't say I care that much about it... but of course it's a lovely thing and I'll definitely watch the recap of the ceremony afterwards. I find all the memorabilia out there quite amusing, you can literally buy anything with Will&Kate's faces on it! Here are some things I thought were cute... All Hail Britannia!

Girl About Town

A few weeks ago I was interviewed by two really sweet girls from Sweden, Mathilde and Josefine. They study international media and came with their class to London to write an article about someone living here. Since they were both interested in design and illustration, they asked me for an interview and of course I said yes! Mathilde and Josefine were really nice and ambitious girls and I really enjoyed chatting with them. Here are some photos they took of me for their article.

Easter Fortune Eggs DIY

I love chocolate Easter eggs, and I love the fun of opening a fortune cookie. So why not combine the two this Easter? This is your guide to make personalized Easter fortune eggs, a sweet gift for your family or friends!

This is what you need: kinder eggs, mini candy eggs, white chocolate, tissue paper, ribbons, small tags, pen and paper.
Start with carefully opening the kinder eggs, you can do it with a sharp knife or just by pressing on the middle of the eggs.
Write some sweet/funny Easter-related messages for the fortune. Try to personalize them but keep the Easter theme!
Roll the paper tightly to form tiny rolls.
Place the fortune and some mini candy eggs in one of the chocolate halves.
Melt the edges of the other half with a lighter, you only need to warm it for a few seconds.
Place the lid back on...
and gently squeeze together. Place the egg in the fridge for a few minutes to set.
In the meantime, melt the white chocolate and pour it into a small plastic bag. Cut a very small hole in one of the corners. Now you can decorate the eggs and make cute patterns.
Place the eggs back in the fridge for about 15 mins.
After that it's time to wrap the eggs in tissue paper, tie a ribbon around it and hang a little tag with the receiver's name on it.
The eggs are ready for my friends!

Success!
